Brian Telfer
Managing Director
Since 1990, Mr. Brian Telfer, has helped businessmen, managers, professionals, skilled workers and sponsored relatives to obtain second passports, permanent resident visas to North America, Europe, Caribbean, Australia and New Zealand.
Brian and June Telfer, both were members of OPIC from 1992 and when immigration consultancy licensing began in 2005, became licensed members of the Canadian Society of Immigration Consultants (CSIC).
Brian joined the CSIC membership committee in October 2006 serving on a subcommittee dealing with “Unauthorized Representatives” and CPD requirements for members outside Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver and overseas. Both of these issues are critical to CSIC members overseas.
OPIC became CAPIC and Brian and June remain members to this day.
CSIC lost their license to regulate immigration consultants in 2011 and ICCRC took over.
As per the current rules any consultant representing clients for a fee, has to be a member of the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC). That means that a consultant will need to be a member in good standing of ICCRC to represent a client to / before IRCC, IRB or CBSA. The ICCRC number of Mr. Brian Telfer is #R420311.
Brian Telfer was born in the UK, where he trained as an accountant with Kodak Ltd. Later he worked for Rolls Royce after obtaining his management accounting qualification F.C.M.A and a B.Sc in Psychology from the University of Hull, UK. He immigrated to Canada in 1968 initially, working for Pilkington Glass and then IBM Canada. He served on the Board of Directors of his Condominium Association and as Vice President of the Toronto Chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants U.K.
Brian took up a position in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E. in 1982 working for local companies in the region in senior financial positions, acquiring the designation, Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (FCMA) in 1990.
Mr. Telfer is relentless in his pursuit of honesty and professionalism in an industry much maligned for incompetent and disreputable practitioners. He is very accessible and prides himself on his ability to customize his services to meet the individual needs of his clients. He is driven to meet the highest standards of service and professionalism. His services begin with a simple phone call or email, when Brian, with his comprehensive knowledge of current immigration criteria, provides an immediate assessment of the person’s likelihood of success. If retained he manages the application process from ensuring a submission of a perfected application, IELTS test preparation where applicable, certification of documents, interview preparation (unless the interview is waived), to directly communicating with the visa office to ensure that the application is processed within the set guidelines.
Ultimately, Mr. Telfer advises, informs and assists the applicant and his family with future settlement in their chosen country.

They are proud parents of three and grandparents to seven adorable grand kids ranging in age from 20 to not-yet-two. Their kids hold Canadian, UK and Australian passports. True to the saying, that it is not money, that matters more than it is to be born in the right country, away from poverty and dangerous surroundings. For those without that privilege, the passport to a First World country is the answer to a good education, health care and the Canadian/British/Australian dream! Mr. and Mrs. Telfer have been practicing immigration consultancy for over 26 years and have helped thousands of families reach that goal!
